What happened? emails

Emails with the crazy decisions made by ex. Really that is nothing new but the audacity of this woman. You gotta be kiddin' me.

First, some background-

My in-laws (my H's parents(we'll call them Ma and Pa) pay for each child to go to private school. They pay $10,000 per year, per child. ($30,000 for the year for all children) Damn is what I say too! I went to public school and they are two different worlds. Anyway- their home work and their studying are intense. The youngest has been working on a science fair project for the last two months and has done quite well. But over his mom's she does not make him do very much of his work- hence why he is doing sooo bad in the 4th grade.
We have had major discussions on this and this kid does not have the skills to do the homework with out being helped and guided through it. She disagrees and says it is his homework, and it is his job to finish it. This does not help.
Over at our house we come home (or go to someone's practice) and he has to do his homework before he can do ANYTHING! I give him a snack, and I do his homework with him. All week, everyday (I am the bad guy) I make him do it. If he does'nt, that is OK. It is his decision and his alone but if he doesn't get it done then he knows there will be no practice, no scouts, no friends over, no tv, no guitar hero. It is all up to him. But when he does it I am there to do it with him and help him. We stress this as to not face his homework alone. He is really taken to this schedule.

Long story short this kid is doing horribly in the 4th grade. All year he has been having difficulty doing homework especially over mom's. SO what does she do???? She enrolls him in baseball. In a baseball league that is in neither of his parents community??? (It is about 45 minutes away from us and about 15 minutes from her) And in this league the coach says to us- "We really need him here four times a week????"
WHAT? This is not possible. He has scouts and he has another club that meets every week. He is not getting his work done yet she wants to reward him and give him more to do?????

Yeah this makes sense. BS!!!! We just told him like it was. IF he did his homework without being forced we would try and make his practice once a week. We told him we could maybe do one practice and that we would get him there on his games on Saturdays- But honestly that is all logistics would allow us to do. He completely understood but I know he will want to do more.
And we also talked with him about the fact mom was not going to be able to do this either (this is a classic move on her part).

The funny thing about this- Is here he is getting this plussh education (which she wants him to have but she will not help him do the things he is supposed too) Bottom line is if she is going to help him fail, he needs to go to public school to do it.

This wasn't the only thing she did. I will write more later on cheer leading and lawyers.

Time has been an issue lately.

I had a scheduled surgery this morning. Really- was hoping to post before today. But will try by tonight.

But if all else fails definitely by tomorrow. (that is for yous whos tappin' yor foot)

I have so much to talk about. You wont believe what happened last night.

She (the ex) has fell off her rocker!! The ego on this woman is huge.
Unbelievably huge. It's maddening I tell you!
